These boring bars are designed for boring with the PDQ 2" Adjustable Boring Head screwed into the end of the bar. This combination gives a sturdy boring tool with only the minimum amount of mass that is off-center, since everything runs true with the centerline except the tool bit and the small adjustable slide at the extreme end of the bar. All bars are hardened and precision ground.
